If you have ordered fresh milk, it has never been frozen and you can therefore freeze it.

According to the FAO (the World Food Organization), camel milk is one of the healthiest animal milks. Camel milk contains no beta-lactoglobulin, the protein that plays a major role in the development of cow's milk allergy.

• Camel milk has a shelf life of 1 year in the freezer, if not completely defrosted before. This expiry date is shown on the bottle.
• Fresh and frozen Camel Milk can be kept in the refrigerator for ±3 days.

Once received, immediately remove the camel milk from the box and put it in the fridge or freezer.

• Storage of the camel milk
• Fresh Camel Milk can be kept in the fridge or in the freezer
• Frozen Camel Milk should be stored in the freezer.
• Let the frozen Camel Milk defrost in the fridge. This will take a few hours.
• Due to freezing, flakes of fat may float in the milk after defrosting, this is a natural process.
• Shaking well before use is the solution.

Shelf life:

• Fresh and defrosted Camel Milk can be kept in the fridge for ±3 days.

• Put the frozen camel milk in the fridge and let it defrost in this.
• Note: do not defrost the milk outside the refrigerator! The defrosting process takes a few hours.

It is recommended to drink 1 to 2 glasses (1 glass = +/- 250 ml) of camel milk per day for optimal health effect. Sometimes it may take 2 to 3 months before you notice the effect.

The capsules themselves are not made from (pork) gelatin but from HPMC. So the shells themselves are vegan. The contents (100% camel milk powder) are obviously not vegan, but they are vegetarian.

From a 420-gram bag of powder, you can get 4.2 liters of milk.

Fresh and frozen camel milk and products are shipped to every country within the European Union. Unfortunately, this does not include Norway, Switzerland and the UK. However, you can buy our milk in Switzerland and the UK through our resellers.

Shipping outside the Netherlands is always in an insulated box with ice packs.

The camel milk powder, capsules and other camel milk products are sent to almost all countries in the world.

We ship camel milk and camel milk products on Mondays.

• Orders placed and/or paid before Monday morning 10:00 am will be shipped on the same day.
• Orders placed and/or paid after Monday morning 10:00 am will be shipped on the next shipping day, i.e. Monday 

Shipping costs may vary depending on the shipping method, country and weight of your order. You can fill your shopping basket on the webshop with the desired products and enter your address. You will then see what the shipping costs are.

Due to the Brexit, we cannot ship fresh or frozen camel milk to the UK. If you place an order, it will be sent by our reseller in the UK. This one only has frozen camel milk. So our fresh camel milk is unfortunately not available in the UK. 

No unfortunately. There is a chance of customs control, this will make the milk travel for too long and not be good on arrival.

There are several ways to order the camel milk subscription:

1. Via the webshop:

• Click on 'camel milk' at the top of the menu.
• On this page, choose the option ''Subscription 1x per 2 weeks: 14 bottles of fresh, raw camel milk'.
• Put this in your shopping basket, click on 'Continue to checkout' and fill in all your details here and complete the ordering process.
• Then you will be sent a direct debit form via email (check your spam box). Please fill it in and mail it back to us.
• Once we have received the completed direct debit form, we will send you the camel milk.

2. Send an e-mail directly to [email protected]

There may be several reasons why you have not received a Track & Trace code (yet):

1. Miedema does not send Track & Trace codes, but an email with information about the delivery. Within the Netherlands our standard shipping method is refrigerated transport via Firma Miedema. On the day of shipment you will receive an email from Miedema with information (check your spam box!). They ensure that your milk is refrigerated throughout the shipment and deliver the order to you the day after pickup.

2. If you choose DPD then you will receive an email with the tracking code, delivery date and time. Check your spam box for this.

3. The package has not been shipped yet. We ship camel milk and milk products every Monday and Wednesday. The Track & Trace code is not sent until the courier picks up the packages from our warehouse.

Fresh/frozen camel milk
The fresh and frozen camel milk are shipped in an isolation box with dry-ice.
We only ship the fresh/frozen camel milk on Mondays.

Other camel milk products and souvenirs
Our shipping days for the other products are Monday and Wednesday

Shipping method

DHL Express is the standard shipping method for sending frozen camel milk outside the Netherlands.

If you opt for DPD, it is at your own risk if the camel milk no longer arrives fully refrigerated.

The camel milk is usually delivered within 48 hours. 
You receive an e-mail with the tracking code, to trace the parcel and see on which date and time the delivery will take place.

For the shipment of frozen camel milk within the Netherlands, we advise you to choose our standard shipping method Miedema refrigerated transport. The moment the milk is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from them with information (check your spam box). They will ensure that your milk is refrigerated throughout the shipment and will deliver the order to you the day after shipment.

• Make sure someone is at home at the time of delivery
• Place the milk in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon receipt
• Always defrost frozen camel milk in the refrigerator
